The Committee on Religious Shunning Joins
Worldwide Protest Against
the Church of Scientology

DATE: Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, 11:30 am

LOCATION: Northeast corner of Sunset Blvd. and L. Ron Hubbard Way, just west of Vermont Ave. in Hollywood.

Protest demonstrations have been planned for many cities around the world by 'Anonymous' (see Enturbulation.Org for info about this) to bring to light Church of Scientology abuses including religious shunning, which is called 'disconnection' in Scientology.

The Committee on Religious Shunning will be participating in the Los Angeles demonstration near the Scientology Hollywood Complex. We will be gathering at the northeast corner of Sunset Blvd. and L. Ron Hubbard Way at 11:30 am on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008.

Ken and Grace Aaron founded the the Committee in Dec. of 2004 after all normal efforts to contact their oldest son, Zachary, were repeatedly rebuffed.

In April of 2000 Zachary was given 48 hours to sever all ties with his parents or be excommunicated from the Church himself. Intimidated by the threat of losing his opportunity for "Total Freedom," Zachary chose to concede to the Church's dictates and abandon his family.

Both Ken and Grace will be attending this protest demonstration to express their desire to communicate with their son, Zachary, and their sorrow over the loss of their relationship with him. They also want to bring public attention to the Church of Scientology family disconnection policy which has, and continues, to severely harm thousands of individuals and families.
